When and how was your band created?
It was year 1992. Typical story: Me and my friend thinking "what hell we can do to get some girl´s...."

Where is the name of the band coming from?
I drive behind Chevrolet truck someday and reading it´s type: Chevrolet Happy Times Van. Here it is

What musicians or artists did have a major influence in your life / work?
First it was Local heroes like "Toni Rossi" and Rauli "Badding" Somerjoki. In later, Badding still going strong and others are something like: Brian Setzer, Danny Gatton, Olavi Virta, Henry Manchini, Ennio Morricone, Laika & cosmonauts, Kinks, etc.

What are the positive and negative aspects of being a musician in Finland?
Positive think´s are: Because we plays Traditional Finnish beat/rockmusic in Kick´s Peoples know already our Stuff.
Negative think´s : Little Country, so the Kick´s are in same places about 2-3 times per year. Record sales are little so you must doin something else to get money for you life.

How could you define your style of music?
Shaken and stirred beat?

During the years how has your musical style changed?
In this time we doing also 100% instrumental music.

How do explain these changes?
We like to be Worldwide superheroes...Hah, hah

What are topics you treat in your songs?
Like usually: Love and Hate

What is your favorite song in your repertoire and why?
Hmm. I guess it was song named " Tyhjää"

Do you actually prefer performing your music live or in a studio?
Both. Now we doing new album: "instrumental Circus" releasetime is september? Record company cant say yet the final day.

During the process of making a song, what is the moment that you prefer?
Feeling is everything?

A stupid question but... what is among all the songs you've been listening in your life the BEST song?
I really can´t say.. they are so many song´s

What is your opinion, as a musician, regarding internet?
It´s great promotion channel.

What are your projects?
No other this time.

What "image" do you have of French music?
I dont listening new French music but offcourse I remember Edith Piaff, Trini Lopez?(is he french) and like this kind french music.

Is there one French song that you prefer? If so, what song is it?
Yes we play instrumental version Emmanuelle film song and also JE T'ÁIME Moi NON PLUS
