Music Interview : Paco from Rudeboys   When and how was your band created? WE FORMED RUDE BOYS ABOUT 8 YEARS AGO AFTER EPE AND YKA HAD DISCUSSED ABOUT FORMING A BAND THAT WOULD BE A TRIBUTE TO THE RUTS. Where is the name of the band coming from? I BELIEVE IT COMES FROM A SONG BY THE RUTS: STARING AT THE RUDE BOYS What musicians or artists did have a major influence in your life / work? I BELIEVE I CAN ANSWER ON BEHALF OF ALL THE MEMBERS OF THE BAND THAT ALL 70´S PUNKROCK WAS A COMMON INFLUENCE. SPECIALLY THE PUNK WHICK WAS A BIT MORE "MUSICAL" AS FOR EXAMPLE THE RUTS ARE. What are the positive and negative aspects of being a musician in Finland? NEGATIVE IS THAT IT IS VERY DIFFICULT TO MAKE A LIVING PLAYING COVER SONGS POSITIVE ASPECTS IS.....? ITS JUST FUN AS ANYWHERE AROUND THE WORLD. How could you qualify your style of music? PUNK ROCK WITH AN EDGE During the years how has your musical style evolved? WE HAVE ALSO COVERED THE MORE DIFFICULT SONGS OF THE RUTS BUT WE ALSO HAVE PLAYED OTHER COVER SONGS FOR EXAMPLE: CLASH, X-RAY SPECS, SEX PISTOLS ETC. Have you ever considered the possibilty to change totally your style of music? If so, what style of music would you choose? PUNK WILL BE ALWAYS ON OUR MIND... What is your favorite song in your repertoire and why? BABYLON'S BURNING. IT'S FAST, QUITE CHALLENGIN TO PLAY AND IT HAS GOOD LYRICS Do you tour regularly? Do you prefer performing your music live or in a studio? WE TRY TO PLAY GIGS BUT BEEING A COVER BAND IN FINLAND HAS ITS DOWNSIDES. During the process of making an album, what is the moment that you prefer? WHEN IT'S DONE AND WE CAN FINISH THE DRINKS! What kind of music / What artists do you currently listen? ANYTHING WITH AN EDGE. A stupid question but... what is, among all the songs you've been listening in your life, the BEST song? MOTORHEAD - ACE OF SPADES -  THATS WHAT WAS PLAYING ON THE RADIO WHEN I FIRST GOT LAID! What is your opnion, as a musician, regarding internet? HOPE THAT EVERYTHING WON'T BE "DOWNLOADED" BUT WHAT CAN ONE DO? What are your actual and future projects? I'M PLAYING WITH THE NEW BAND "DAD´S ARMY".
